Quicksand

Quicksand

A Poem by sinNsincerity

Dear Jennifer,

You are more splendid than

The weather in December.

A lost vision of you

Is all I can remember.

No longer searching or waiting for you…

Just lost in the world.

You were my love - my only.

I was your king to your queen,

His and hers sex with

Diamond rings.

Under the moonlight is where

We used to kiss.

Your moans were singing,

Rather yet,

Creating symphonies!

Holding each

Other while letting ourselves go.

True feelings,

We sunk into each other’s hearts like quicksand...

Which needed no rendering.

Quicksand- such a beautiful metaphor for love. That just makes so much sense Sin. "Moans were singing" "Creating symphonies"- beautiful imagery....it is true, falling in love is like sinking in quicksand, without any rendering.
