Shape Shifted

My heart shape shifted into a diamond 

From all of the pain 

And all of the pressure it had endured 

And now it shines brighter than ever, 

But I do know that it won’t last 

Because the sun will eventually ravage to a simmer.

It's okay 

Because the true excitement really begins 

Once the package is delivered.

Time will pass and I’ll super nova into something 

You won’t ever get the chance to view 

Because time will be still when you approach like a black hole.

And yet the destruction will rip your heart away from your flesh 

Without your knowing.
