Blood, Trust, and Rust

Blood, Trust, and Rust

A Poem by sinNsincerity

Blood, Trust, and Rust

I’m staring at the paper while I’m asking for a favor.

Please take away all of my thoughts,

For I don’t mind it because you are all my pain saver.

No hall pass, so I was taken by her,

The undertaker.

One take, one shot, one scene to calculate your mood that you left behind yesterday afternoon.

She took off my cool and I didn’t mind because when I was around her,

It had no use.

The ocean blue allowed me to view the light that reflects off of the moon.

A lame duck, but I’m not at all " no use.

Not ever having a clue, but always putting God’s signs to good use.

I lived inside my mind like a baby in a womb and I was getting my nutrition from you.

We had given birth to a new love, we had given birth to a true love; sadly, we gave birth to a love that simply ran out of blood because we ran away from trust, so we ran into a rust.

Oh this one has some great lines " like a baby in the womb I was getting my nutrition from you" love tjat line brvaise its an absolutely all in statement. .sadly sometimes all in goes bust and yes turns to rust. The trust thing is huge in a relationship but it takes work to nurture it. Some couples makebit look easy but if you ask, they can tell you its a daily choice and effort. Nice one Sin.

I absolutely love this. That last stanza gave me chills. My marriage almost took this turn. It was terrifying. I'm so glad we saved it. This piece really spoke to me on a deeply personal level. Thank you so much for sharing this.

You are absolutely right, love can be pure and true from the start, but can decay pretty fast if there is no trust between the two people involved. Very beautiful!

This is the first piece of yours that I have read. The last stanza gave me shivers. It's hard to explain what lost love feels like, you did it beautifully.
