Sometimes The Wind WhispersA Poem by Jeannie StevensPoem that speaks of the wind blowing away all our cares and woes.
Sometimes the wind whispers
Soft songs in my ears Sometimes it cleanses Blowing dry the hurtful tears At times the wind blows sweetly Scattering fragrance on its wings And caressing the senses With the pleasures that it brings Breezes pushing clouds around Ever changing their true form Mindful of the raindrops That dance before the storm Winds stirring up nature Causing gusts of dust to blow Currents holding captive Pods with seeds yet to sow Sometimes the wind whispers Making time just seem to drift Softly blowing cares and woes Making all my burdens lift © 2016 Jeannie Stevens |
