The Inner Door

The Inner Door

A Poem by Singing Bird
"

My very first piece of writing A tap on the shoulder to express the Self!

"
The Inner Door.

Open the door and what do I see?
Is it something I wish to feel as it beckons unto me?

Do I dare to want to reach out and touch?
To feel such an elusive thing that seems not much?

Have I the courage to really find,
that which is caught up in my inner mind?

If I move but gently and softly, each day I feel my courage grow.
One day soon to reach my inner peace, then outwardly to glow.

The first poem is something special to me. A thought-provoking read. A nice touch of depth from the mass of writing here. The mind is a curious design of housing. The occupants are afraid to go to different rooms :P
