There’s a special glow I feel lingering over me.

The temptation to me you see…….

 

Is to reach so far out and touch,

To promise you ever so much.

 

But forgive me please my love?

For I am like a fragile white dove.

 

Too oft scared into freedom of flight.

Even with gifts such as yours, seeming so noble and right.

 

I can make no promises to thee,

Until I reach my inner tranquility…...
