Simplicity

A criticism of the modern world.

Everything is not so simple.
It’s heavy enough to break weak minds.
It’s weight cracks the best of us.
And the light’s so bright, weak eyes it blinds.
Everything is not so simple.
Its been responsible for much death. 
It’s wisdom cant be trusted.
It is even more cursed than Macbeth.
Everything is not so simple.
In it’s complexities it brings life.
Without it we would be lost.
It’s intelligence sharp as a knife.
Everything is not simple.
So stop trying to make it that way.
