Garden of Kalopsia

Garden of Kalopsia

A Poem by SineadJulia
"

A short ode about the coming of spring

"

Icy blue leaks,

Spilling over dry bark.

Twirling like a ribbon,

A trail of sapphire encases

Each branch with spring luster.

Spiraling down in eloquent waves,

Blue fig mingles with citrus bursts,

Bringing the tree to life.

Fragrant aroma fills the air,

Creating a most sensual high.

Immersed in the garden of Kalopsia,

Everything comes to life.

Strands of grass whisper the hidden knowledge,

Of the ancient forest.

Sparrows waltz upon the breeze,

While dandelions dissolve

Into lovely dreams.

Fireflies rest among curved leaves,

Illuminating the air

Like floating candles,

While crickets hum the lullaby,

Of love.

Icy blue leaks,

Spilling over dry bark.

Twirling like a ribbon,

A trail of sapphire encases

Each branch with the arrival of

Spring.
