Shimmering SacrificeA Poem by SineadJuliaA fairy floated gently to the ground, wings not beating, heart without sound. The world had stopped believing, all hope was lost. Her tiny spirit the cost. She laid there delicately, a pink petal glimmering. Yet with each tear I shed, I knew somewhere, a new one was shimmering.
