Daily poem: Your Hidden Half

the heart can know, the heart can feel, the pain of another without the need of concrete knowledge for the brain.

No matter where you are
I believe 

with all that I have

and with all that I lack

that my heart will always

know yours. 

That any pain you may suffer, 

my heart will be here, 

hidden in the shadows from your sight

to take your pain from you. 

To soak it in for you

so that maybe, 

you will find the happiness 

you have always deserved.
