Stone hedge hogs and mystic lanes

Waiting to break free..

Milestones as

stone hedgehogs 

claim pit stops

along rugged path.

Tar rubbled roads

winding through

peaks and trees

claim the journey.

Lone traveller 

behind the wheel,

on foot, moves

in the search.

Eyes brimmed

piled emotions

anguish to extinguish

hope to renew.

Crunching gravel under

chain rimmed wheels, 

tales filled boots,

muffle the silence.

Moving along 

mystic lanes

with hedgehog pals

time trickles.

Into digits

memories

Sun and dawn

Stars and night.

Lone in search 

stripped off bounds

Every tear dripped

eases the step.

Imprinting smiles

tears and joy

peace in fight

Claim the essence of life.

The wanderers always know things that are better than any of our bookish knowledge, when you stay away, unattached from the family or friends but get attached to the nature and other aspects of the world, that's probably the best essence of life.

I agree! Like I say to myself: attach less, care less, expect less and get hurt less. Unfortunately we are emotional beings :/
Travelling doesn't only takes us to places but makes mind brighter, I think.

Nice one chick - very inspired - I see you stripped this one right down - just like we need to do in life - we all must walk the path - which ever path we choose no matter - so long as we remember to live - accept - experience - love along the way right? - its all in front of us - its all within us - and if we take a wrong turn - a wrong path - well plenty more hedgehog pals along the way - i can see where this is travelling and it is well worth the journey me thinks XX
