Lover's lullaby

Lover's lullaby

A Poem by Sindu
"

..^_^..

"
Sleep encased me in his arms
lovingly pulling me under
the tresses of long ignored
languid mind, my eyes heaved
closing a chapter while I heard
no owl wailing but canines
serenading far away in the
glories of night sky encasing.
I woke up peaceful much later
unlike when my alarm created
a havoc, dreamt I must have
but recollect none for it
was a much needed
drowsy spell after the
passing droughts.

This one is really good.... The way you personified sleep as a lover, it's enchanting....
