An evening snack

An evening snack

A Poem by Sindu
"

yummy.. filled my tummy

"
Mama woke me from tired eveing nap
awarding me with a tumbler and bowl of snacks.
Filled from life, out of pith of citrus fruits
bitter sweet mixture drained down my throat,
waking me up and what more do i have here;
puffed rice, tossed in a glory of reds, whites and greens,
sizzled my tongue with snaping chillies,
dousing with tangy tomatoes and snarky onions.
Made my mouth water and made
me devour it till my spoon scraped
the bottom of the little bowl.
