Inveterate PentinenceA Poem by SinduTo the source of life who bears us... MomzillaNC's challenge
My deepest apologies
Oh! My patient sickened mother; living at the end of your tethers My deepest apologies The forest primeval weeps as deprived of her rights; and pleas. My deepest apologies Meglomaniacs plunder your reserves in haste; no care to preserve. My deepest apologies We, puny beings, hunters of anything alive till extinction, we who connived. My deepest apologies you stare back; an eglomise, laden with our mistakes; we still reprise.
