Beware the vultures

Beware the vultures

A Poem by Sindu
"

Not everyone cares.. Beware

"
Beautiful life,
a caring soul.
Hard work and good deed as you go.
They amaze you with their praise,
you smile; unaware what hides in their gaze.

They wait, my dear, with their keen eyes open.
A tiny slip is all they crave,
you fall and tear your skin.
They come forth
awakening their blood thirst.

You might as well die, the way they claw you down.
Termed you ' pretty, creative, smart' and all, way back then.
They cackle and scorn you,
this is what they shower on you now,
'loose, thief, a crazy loon!'

They break your will, tear you limb by limb.
They leave no carcass unturned
till satiated to their fill
Beware the vultures, my dear.
For they are the vultures of the society.
