Please take me away

So I don’t feel the pain no more

The sounds of fright

Enters my soul

I listen to the screams

And cannot take them out

People stare

Looking only at me

And away from the problem

I don’t know what to say

Or do

But dealing with this alone

Makes nothing else matter

I continue to cry

I want to tell him

But he’d never want me

He is so much more

Than what I’ll ever be

So I pick up my sorrows

And walk away.
