He was perhaps 19yrs old, and wearing plain civilian clothing. He took a deep breath, before examining the wrist guard he was wearing. There was a clock embedded into the inside of the armor. He pulled his hood up, and over his ears. Adjusting the clock a bit, before two people came running into the clearing. One was a male white haired neko, the other a dirty haired male with dog like ears. They were both out of breath, but the dog eared male shouted. "Da- Purpura. Give that back! You don't know what the consequences could be!" Purpura looked to them, the white haired male looked extremely concerned. Purpura held his arm in front of him. The white haired male shook his head no. The dog eared male charged Purpura, but before reaching Purpura pushed the clock face and disappeared in a flash. The light was blinding. When Purpura opened his eyes, he was in the same location, but alone. He looked about, before hurrying along. He ran thru the forest, before coming to a waterfall. He moved closer to see smoke coming out of the cave opening behind it. He pulled his mask over his mouth, and hurried into the cave. The smoke got thicker as he got deeper. Suddenly he saw a group of children, four of them about six years old. He moved quickly against the wall of the cave to avoid being seen. The house in front of them was on fire. One of the male children was crying hysterically. The two females were holding each other watching. Suddenly another child came out, this one older with purple hair like himself. The four younger children approached. The older child pointed to the exit and began ushering them out. The children tried to protest, but the older child didn't care. He silently moved them out of the cave. The older child paused for just a moment, before continuing to push his siblings out. Once the children were out of the opening, Purpura moved. He hurried over to the house and opened the door. Just inside was a older neko with long purple hair. The neko was pinned on the ground by a large beam. Purpura went over, and grabbed the beam lifting it with all his might. It was heavier than he'd hoped but he managed to lift it. He created a small pillar of blood to hold the beam up. Once it was secure, he went to the neko. He gently pulled the neko out, observing the neko's injuries. The neko's legs looked badly injured, their clothes were burnt in various areas. The neko's face was covered in soot. Purpura looked rather distraught, but he gently placed his hand on the neko's head. Slowing the neko's heart beat, enough to prevent shock without killing them. He then lifted the neko onto his back carefully. He carried the neko out of the burning house, and moved to an open area of the cave. He watched the house continue to crumble for a moment. Then pushed the clock on his arm guard. The world flashed in blinding light again. Suddenly the house was in perfect order, though with various changes. They had rebuilt it as close to the original as they could all remember. He moved and walked into the house. To the left was a black haired neko, cooking in the kitchen. The neko glanced over, before gasping and dropping the utensil. "Da-Purpura, who is-? Purpl- By the gods, is that mother?!" Purpura looked to him, before moving up the stairs. The neko shouted, and hurried after. "This isn't, it isn't possible!" Purpura turned and looked to him, and the neko was instantly silent. Purpura continued to the end of the hall, opening the door. The room was nicely furnished with a large bed in the middle of the room. The dresser had various pictures of their mother. He moved and gently placed the neko he was carrying on the bed. The black-haired neko stood next to him, looking at the unconscious neko. "It... is mother... How did you?" Purpura held up his wrist. The neko gasped, "You stole Luz's time device!" Purpura gently observed the purple-haired neko. His talents did not lie in healing others. The black-haired neko looked to their mother. "I'll get all the healing supplies I have." he said hurrying out of the room. Purpura went into the bathroom, grabbing a rag and wetting it. He brought it back, and gently began to wipe the soot off his mother's face. The other male returned, arms full of supplies. He set them down on the dresser, grabbing a tube. "Gently rub this on any burns." he said handing the tube to Purpura, who began to do as told. The black-haired male went over to their mother's legs and knelt. He placed his hands over their mother's legs, and his hands began to glow a soft green. After working diligently for a few minutes, the white-haired neko peaked in. He covered his mouth with his hand, in surprise. The neko grabbed Purpura's arm, Purpura looked to him. The two just stared at each other for a long while. The black-haired neko glanced over, but didn't interrupt. Finally the white-haired neko let go, before undoing the fastens on the arm guard. He then moved to walk out of the room, with their mother gave a cough. All three of them looked. With Purpura's focus elsewhere, he'd forgotten to keep his mother unconscious. The three were frozen, as if scared any movement might fully awaken their mother. After a long minute, without another noise they gently moved. The white-haired male sighed and walked out. The black-haired male continued working, and spoke "I don't know that he'll ever forgive you for stealing it..." He paused glancing their mother's face. "If you ask me, it think it was worth it." he added. Purpura pulled his hood off, and his mask down. He had already known it would be worth it. He didn't care if the god of time decided to punish him. The world would have it's gentlest, and kindest soul back. And he had back the only person he'd ever truly trusted. That was worth any punishment.
