Ch12 - Sophisticated Revenge (Final)A Chapter by SinTrustlessRevenge is simple when you are Heartless.
Purpura walked along, the castle was enormous and allowed for roaming.
Within a moment Tynan caught up, "Are you ready?" he asked, and Purpura nodded. "Good, let's move into the ball room." he said, as the two entered a large room. A live band was playing music with a enough rhythm to encourage dancing. Various couples were already dancing, and enjoying their nice. To most this was a night of peace. A night of simple celebration, meant to encourage cooperation between nations. To Tynan, this was the night of revenge. The perfect end to this scoff with his sister. She was out on the dance floor with her adviser, dancing gracefully. Their mother had clearly ensured the two looked perfect. He glared at them, everything she did, and everything his mother did annoyed him. Purpura stood quietly, and looked to Tynan, before nudging him a bit Tynan looked to Purpura, his anger fading. He couldn't let his anger show. He was the heir apparent, he had to maintain a perfect image. "Where is my mother?" he asked, Purpura looked to him then away. There was no way for him to possibly know where the strongest shadow demon was. A neko ran out of a side room over to the band, and they quieted their music. Before playing a short but very different song. It was a common song, that Purpura called 'Entrance of the Monarchs.' The side door opened, and in walked seven different people. Including Tynan's mother. They were the leaders of the seven main countries. The smaller country leaders generally worked thru one of the seven main. One of the seven was a neko with bright purple hair. He looked to be built a bit stronger than the average neko. Purpura stepped a bit, to hide from the neko's view. The neko went over to the band. The band was quiet as the neko gently took the microphone. "I wish to personally thank you all for attending this celebration. It is not often we, of the Trustless kingdom, get to host an event for the other nations. Celebrations, such as this, are instrumental in establishing friendly relations. Please use this evening to meet new people, and learn something about another nation. Thank you again." He thanked the band, then walked off stage. The crowd gave a gentle applause. Tynan leaned to Purpura. "Was that your father?" Purpura looked to him, shook his head no with a mildly grossed look. Purpura began to walk away, Tynan followed, "Then who? Grandfather?" Purpura shook his head again, "Geez, uncle?" Purpura rolled his eyes and looked to Tynan. Found around the corner a neko appeared. "Ah, my..." He looked between the two, unsure which to address first. Finally the neko spoke, but in neko. "Ego paenitet. Sum bonum commune." Tynan stared a long moment, before speaking. "Tu quoque. Docens lingua Daemon Princeps." The neko laughed, "Your accent- it is... quid dicam? Aliena." "Ah, strange... Yes. You're likely right. Can you offer a pointer or two?" Establishing positive relationships was important. The neko nodded with a laugh, "Evax! Uh, first... it's suppose to- river. You sound... asper, eh... impolitus. Should sound... Like bird! Sicut cantantes." Purpura felt himself chuckle. Tynan was nodding, "That makes sense. I always thought others sounded like they were almost singing. That prayer earlier, I nearly thought was a song." The neko nodded, "Yes. Song." The neko giggled, before hurrying away with a smile. Purpura chuckled, he was glad he didn't have to deal with trying to sing a language. Tynan looked rather confused on how to possibly make it sound like he was singing when he spoke the language. Purpura couldn't really help, other than tell him he was wrong. Perhaps he did need a tutor. Later into the evening the two were standing, watching. "You ready?" Tynan asked. Purpura rolled his eyes, this was at least the sixth time Tynan had asked. "At the end of this song, start." Purpura nodded, he was glad that it was finally time. He had been getting antsy waiting. He watched Crudelus and her adviser dance. The song ended. And her adviser clutched at his chest. He dropped to one knee. She looked concerned, "Hajorn?" she asked. The dancing crowd moved back, giving them space, and watching. The male didn't respond, and she knelt a bit to look at him better. Suddenly she stood tall, and looked over at Tynan Standing at the edge of the dance crowd, Tynan smirked at her. "Knock it off brother." she said sternly. He smirked more, 'brother' she rarely called him that. He shrugged as if he didn't know what she was talking about. Suddenly the male collapsed to the ground in agony. She suddenly looked a bit panicked. She knelt down to her adviser, then looked to Tynan. "Stop it Tynan, he isn't involved in this." He smirked even more, now the first name. She was upset. On the adviser's neck clearly a purple rash was forming. She looked more panicked. "How are you doing this?" she demanded, before reaching to try to help the male sit up. The crowd parted, so the two had clear sight of each other. The room was silent, and much to Tynan's enjoyment, his mother was watching from the balcony. Tynan stood with his hands behind his back. Purpura standing just behind him. "Apologize." Tynan said softly. She glared at him, and looked to Hajorn who's purple rash was spreading. She looked to Tynan again, "Stop it, right now!" Tynan glared at her, "Apologize, or your lover dies." She looked ready to speak, yell, scream. Yet, no words came out. Instead she looked to the male in her arms. Tynan spoke, "If the rash reaches his brain, it'll slowly destroy his brain. Then he'll die as he forgets how to breath." It was already on his neck. She suddenly looked extremely concerned. "Okay, I'll apologize just make it stop." Tynan gave a slight glare, "Apologize, and then it stops." The rash continued spreading over his face. "Okay." She stared, and tears began to stream down her face. She continued, "I'm sorry. For the assassin. And, and anything else." Yet it didn't stop. She began sobbing, "Please, please stop hurting him. I said I'm sorry. You don't have to hurt him." Suddenly the man gasped, as his rash started fading. "Hajorn?!" she exclaimed. "My lady," he managed to whisper. She smiled with glee, and kissed him, forgetting where she was. Tynan walked away, as Purpura followed. Suddenly standing in front of them was Tynan's mother. "Ah, Tynan. Good show. I wondered how you would end that little game. But going after her lover. And making her cry in front of the other nations? You're more cut throat than I realized. Perhaps you will be a good heir." she laughed, and walked away. Tynan felt himself snarl a bit. Purpura began to walk opposite, and Tynan followed a bit absently. "She. Gah! Even when I win, somehow she wins." Purpura looked to Tynan, blankly. Tynan turned and punched the wall. "Good heir? Damn her! May all the gods damn her! Who am I kidding? she'd enjoy damnation. Probably rule the place with my father." Purpura chuckled, and Tynan looked to him. "You laugh, but it's true." Purpura shrugged, and kept walking. Tynan followed, "Where are we going? This place is a maze. I can barely hear the music anymore." Purpura then opened a door. It was bedroom. Purpura kept walking, but Tynan paused to take in the room. It was elegant, and sophisticated. Most of the room was white, with a variety of purple accents. Purpura had moved thru the room to the window, and opened it. Tynan went over to the bed, it was draped with a beautiful blanket. The blanket reminded him of a tiger, yet it was white and purple. He gently touched the blanket, it was the softest material he'd ever touched. "What is this magical thing made from?" he asked petting it. Purpura looked to Tynan, before rolling his eyes, and heading out the window. Tynan watched before following. Purpura was climbing up the side of the castle. Tynan watched him a moment, before climbing after him. "Where are we going?" Purpura always questioned why Tynan insisted on asking questions that weren't yes/no. Once to the top he stepped back, and waited for Tynan. He knew that getting Tynan out of the Heartless castle was essential to getting Tynan to be himself. Tynan often became more aggressive, controlling, and cruel in his home. Or around his sister/mother. They fed his darker side. Purpura had known Tynan for over 50 years. Tynan finally got up, and Purpura led him to a flat spot. Then sat down, Tynan sat with him. "Why are we here?" Purpura shushed him, and after a few minutes a fire work flew into the air and burst with bright colors. It was the perfect spot. They were the closest thing either had to a friend. And though it wasn't 100%, they trusted each other more than anyone else. The fireworks went for a long time. And were marvelous in their show. Finally they stopped. Tynan looked to Purpura. "You know. We haven't gone out together in a long time. What do you say?" Purpura thought on it for a moment before nodding. Tynan smiled, "First, lets go change.
I hate these things." Both stood up, Tynan pat Purpura on the shoulder and nodded. With a smile he spoke, "Let's go kill somebody." © 2016 SinTrustlessAuthor's Note
