I'm lost without you

I'm lost without you

A Poem by Sin

I miss the wake in the air you leave

I miss the way you speak and breathe

I wish I could retreat into memories

but they're worthless if I can't compare them

to the living thing.

I miss the flex of muscles beneath your clothes

I miss the ease in talking, problems only you know

I wish I could remember you perfectly right down to

the curves of your skin and the glow of your eyes

but I've gotten sick again.

I miss your presence beside me so much it hurts

more than anything else because it's you

and nothing can be worse

than being alone without you.
