Never Be Clean

no matter what I do, I'll never be...

I can take as many showers as I need

As much as I try

I can’t keep myself clean

Filled with filth

Because of you

And your constant torments

And---

 

God, I don’t know why I can’t say no to you.

 

But it makes me dirtier

Filthier

Everyday.

I can relate to this so much. It tells a story, even though it's so short. You did really good with this. I liked the ending the most, though. But, great job either way! :)

Poem tell a story of disappointment and confusion. The lines are strong and to the point. I like the direct flow of the poem. Ending was outstanding. Sometime we do what we shouldn't for the wrong reasons. A excellent poem.
