A Universe of Hearts

Your Sun will rise

Mine will set

Everyday I will try to forget

A home that’s real, not really mine

But I guess that’s fine.

The Moon may orbit around the Earth

Giving me some feelings of self worth.

Our Galaxy of stars,and never ending hearts.

Full of life, and no sense of mind.

But only few are truly kind.

Some stars shine bright

Others seem dull.

But each one has potential to fulfill.

A Universe of people

We only know one

To compare a life is to burn the sun.

I’ll lay in bed

Thoughts filling my head.

As I lay to fall asleep

I wonder what things I might meet.

Whether tomorrow of in a few years

I can only hope I live a life without sorrow.

So for now I’ll live my best.

Greeting every unintentional guest.

I’ll keep a smile

Hold my head high

Thank the one who made me realize we have a beautiful sky.
