Heartless ThingsA Poem by Savannah SawyerJust a poem about getting over what others think and finally doing my own thing *contains a swear word*
Like a cat, a silent stalker, weaving through the trees
Dodging blows, and heavy stones, that could bring her to her knees But truth be told, this persons me, And these are words I'm fighting I've given up, run out of spots I've always relied on hiding I've stood up, I've voiced myself I've showed them who I am They can whisper heartless things But I'm done giving a damn © 2013 Savannah SawyerAuthor's Note
