Letting You Go

Letting You Go

A Poem by SimplyOlivia

They still walk around

Like the happy couple

I won't lie

To you

Or myself:

I'm jealous

We used to be happy

Just like that

And honestly.

I miss it

I'm happy where I am

But you just HAD

To pop into life again

Part of me is so angry with you for that

It brings back all the memories

And me

Being faulted and human

Holds onto those memories

And wishes I could have them

*sighs*

But slowly I suppose

I'm letting go

Letting you go

This one tasted quite real. It IS hard getting beyond where you TIED all the lil things to thoughts of each other... places, music, memories...

About
