I Am

This is a poem I wrote for my psych class

I am Crimson and Obsidian

I am Silver and Deep Purple

I am flirty and mysterious

I am quick-witted and elegant

I am of words and wit

I am of books and writing

 I am of talking and listening

I am half angel and half devil

I am pearl and crimson

I am of white wings with blue tips

I am of red dresses with black inlay

I am of confusing emotions

I am many problems and

I am of troubled coping skills

I am trying to heal and

I am tired of trying to fix things and

I am tired of taking care of problems

I am tired of taking direction and

I am tired of following orders

I am tired of life and all its mishaps

And yet,

I am of many friends and loving family

I am of people who love me and help me cope and live

I am from a place in this world that has no meaning but is all about finding that meaning.
