Dangerous Nature

I am a person of the night

And night is the most dangerous time for me

Memories fly back

And crash into me

Like waves on a beach

Tears tread down my cheeks

Like raindrops on a window pane

My heart races

Just like horses galloping

Blood pours from my wrists

Like a waterfall

A blood red waterfall

Everything part of nature

Just like the dark is natural

I have to live with it

So I breathe and just let it go
