Good Bye Jean

Good Bye Jean

A Poem by SimplyOlivia
"

I'm tired of all of this drama so I'm letting it go. I've got other things to make me happy

"

I thought I miss you

I thought you knew

Though the days were few

I thought I stood a fighting chance with you

But those days are over

I’m finally sober

Ash had told me “Maybe October”

I say forget it all

Let you stand proud and tall

All broken inside

I tried to help

But you shut me out

Slammed the door in my face

Fine. Have your space

I’ll just erase

You from me as you brace

Yourself from the hurt

I’ve lain in the dirt

Paining from the curt

Mannerisms in which you gave

You said you’d always be there to save

Me from myself

You’ve turned your back on your word

I’ve heard

It all and I’ve inferred

That it is all absurd

I’m done

You have won

I shall soak in the sun

With friends and happiness

Without all this stress

Your wish is granted:

Good bye Jean

You were a great friend.

About
Sometimes, people say to describe yourself in one word. My word is interesting. I am like a diamond, multi-faceted but still see-through but beautiful to look at and desired, not to mention expensive... more..
