Night Out

Night Out

A Poem by SimplyOlivia
"

This is probably one of my own personal favorite poems ive written.

"

He says he won’t leave me

I pray it’s true

Cristal says to trust

I do believe I do

The girls talk about people cutting

My face flushes red

But they talk of a guy

Softly they better tread

Talks turn to whispers

Talks turns to relationships

Some blush pink

Will has walked with the Krips

Krips and Bloods

Blue versus Red

On the battlegrounds

Where blood is shed

Fights are had

Shots are shot

Run like hell

When the cops get hot

Runnin’ like hell

All through the town

Smiles on our faces

No time to frown

We’re havin’ fun

Just bein’ ourselves

Runnin’ through the town

Runnin’ from devils

Doin’ stunts

Havin’ fun

Runnin’ from the cops

There is no sun

The sun don’t shine

Night wraps around us

Runnin’ in the town

Cops make a fuss

They can’t do s**t

Cause we ain’t hot

Not the two of us

No we not

We get involved

We help

We ain’t hot

So they yelp

They b***h

They scream

They yell

We gleam

Doin’ stuff

That just ain’t right

Laughin’ at ‘em all

The moon ain’t that bright

It give me joy

Adrenaline pumping through

The night ain’t done

All I care is that I’m with you

Listenin’ to music

As we finally sit down

Finally relaxin’

I love this now

Runnin’ from the cops again

Over and over

We ain’t in Dover

Laughin’ as we run

Makin’ jokes

Pokin’ fun

Forget your cloaks

Wear a jacket

Wear your pants

Grab your shoes

Maybe time for a dance

Walk into the club

A place to hide

Buy some drinks

Time to bide

Don’t get drunk

We gotta make it home

Still gotta run there

Never gonna be alone

Runnin’ in Detroit

Nobody lurks

City of Legend

There ain’t no jerks

Everyone’s the same

Death, Blood, and Bone

It’s a deadly high stakes game

Only a few more drinks

Before we go home

Hand in hand

That’s how we roam

Dawn breaks as you open the door

All dressed in black and red

We fall soundly asleep

As we hit the bed.

About
Sometimes, people say to describe yourself in one word. My word is interesting. I am like a diamond, multi-faceted but still see-through but beautiful to look at and desired, not to mention expensive... more..
