Mr Moon

Mr Moon, a short children's Story about finding the moon.

“Mr Moon....Mr Moon” she calls in the dark of the night
She looks up into the sky in search of the moon.

“Come out Mr Moon... Are you hiding behind the trees?”
Standing on Tip toes as tall as she can be... searching behind the tall trees

Still no moon in sight....
She pauses in thought for a moment....“Mr Moon...Mr Moon where are you” she calls in a high pitched voice
“Are you hiding behind the clouds?”
But there’s no clouds in sight.
She begins to grow sleepy and it’s time for bed, closing her curtains, just one more look.
There as if by magic a big ball of light shone through the sky
“Mr Moon...Mr Moon I’ve been looking for you”
A soft deep voice responds “why my child I’ve been shining bright to help you to see through the night....now it’s time for you to rest you little eyes”
With a yarn she whispers “ goodnight Mr Moon sleep tight!”
