I miss you

I miss you

A Poem by Simone Davis
"

Missing a loved one

"
Time ticks by
Every second
Every minute
A lifetime
My heart longs for you
I beg you to remember
To open those eyes
Good old days drifting far away

Silence...
Just say something anything
What I'd give to hear your voice again
To touch your soft delicate skin
To feel your arms wrapped tightly around me
To hear your quirky laugh

To feel enthused by your strength
Encouraged by your heart

I miss you.....

Always in heart and mind ~ cherished forever. Beautiful sentiments. Thank you for sharing this lovely piece.

These are the few places where the broken ones can actually get those broken little edges repaired, by sharing with people who feel you and with those whom you feel in return. A straight, simple poem yet I know what pain lies behind. Keep writing :)

Silence is a blessing or can lead us to deadly places and thoughts. I enjoyed your words and thoughts on silence. Thank you Simba for sharing the excellent poetry.
