Kissing in the rain

Kissing in the rain

A Poem by Simone Davis

Listen to the sound of rain patter to the ground

Water pours from every creak and vessel

Trains roar loudly as I stand alone on the platform

Drenched in emotion I can barely see but a blurry silhouette standing before me

Laced in passion hands stretched out

Hands holding hands he spins me into the fold of his arm

Hands firmly on his chest

Our eyes meet

Hearts melt

Kissing in the rain
