Autumn to WintertideA Poem by Simone Davis
Orient sky’s laced in blue
stubborn leaves hang to their mothers blankets of frost illuminate cold icy particles fill the air I can no longer breathe heavier and heavier my pulse is rising taking it in my stride fists clenched tightly Icicles stem from my cold hollow eyes wrapped up tightly Autumn to Wintertide © 2018 Simone DavisReviews
