Night time blues

Night time blues

A Poem by Simone Davis

Hear the roar of crashing waves hurling to the ground, echoing all around you can barely hear the sounds, a thunderstorm erupting through the atmosphere a sign of the struggle I was once meant to fear

Stars shining brightly above the night sky, a glimmer of hope through the fierce stormy winds, out of darkness this fine night

Morning has woken
Dew layard around
Frostbite has frozen
It’s silent all around
