PressureA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Pressure
When the pressure's mounting up Remember to review life's cup It overflows or runs clean dry And only you can guess at why Life can be hard at times, it's true It doesn't matter where or who So complex is this world we're in We could but guess where to begin Take time then, look around awhile Perhaps change your pattern, or your style No prizes for the lost and weak But help them find the things they seek A truly helpful soul is rare Most ones you'll meet can only stare But now and then true friends are there Reminding you that still they care So journey onward through the rain It's time to make your stand again And as for me, I'm just like you Let's hope this pressure drives us through (c) Simon J.
