What We NeedA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
What We Need
Let us ask just what we need Life can be simple without greed More questions in this world of hurt But still we may our views assert For complications come each day And often there's not much to say A politician gives a speech We hope they've something good to teach So listen closely, truth shall come It hides for it's too much for some A positive thought can bring so much Stay open-minded, keep in touch Then one day all will pass so fast All this we thought would always last So let's seek joy and wisdom heed We'll be surprised by what we need (c) Simon J.
