TalkingA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Talking
Talking helps the people see Just who we are and what may be Both good and bad will come one day Revealed by what we have to say And yet the lies may never end We'll search forever for that friend Who speaks the truth and speaks it well Who wants to help and not to sell No more excuses, it's too late The worldly systems, far from great What lies beneath? Who are we now? Which truths will be revealed, and how? Think on the happy times now lost Pursuit of dreams will have its cost And talk with friends, for we may find That talking helps to heal the blind (c) Simon J.
