Troubled TimesA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Troubled Times
Many live through troubled times And won't have time to read these rhymes So who can help now it's begun? A prayer each day, thy will be done For peace is needed more than fear No point in panic, this is clear Some logic and a clear head Remember what our mentors said For life moves on, things come to pass And here we are, 'midst broken glass Tread carefully, yes, but never hide With good and bad we must abide Stand up and act when it's your turn For endless things we have to learn Save what you can as water climbs And dream beyond these troubled times (c) Simon J.
