Warning SignsA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Warning Signs
The light of hope so strongly shines But also, sometimes, warning signs Keep watch and simplify these times For endless are the subtle crimes A hopeful heart on every street That won't accept it may be beat A blessing for the ones who win 'What fun! Now let the game begin' And yet the kind and gentle souls Have deeper thoughts and worthy goals So easily missed by hardened mind Are things which those will never find Now if the world seems quite a mess Reflect some more, and don't distress Most people live in narrow lines So take good note of warning signs (c) Simon J.
