Happy New YearA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Happy New Year
Many hopes still unfulfilled Despite how strongly they were willed But when reflecting on what's been Recall the details of each scene Like Sherlock, you may find what's real The things which matter in each deal For passing quickly are our lives And onward our intention drives So what is possible from this place? Choose wisely, all are in the race And wishes may not be enough Prepare them well, life can be tough Dream on, then, and with equal measure To sacrifice and things of pleasure The resolutions must be kept Or once again those tears are wept So positive thinking, will of steel Move with thought, and don't just feel Another chance to break through fear To all, my friends, a Happy New Year!
