Outside The BoxA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Outside The Box
There's more to life outside the box The hand of fate controls the locks Yet if we stay and just look out We'll miss what life is all about Contained within, it's safe and warm Outside there rages many a storm The choice is hard to make that leap But what's in here? We eat and sleep So never settle for these four walls The voice of courage gently calls Let's hear and heed the words which fall Lest nothing is learned, no truth at all And moving outwards, all could be For life is free for you and me To learn the things we need to know Outside the box we'll have to go (c) Simon J.
