Every Day Will EndA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Every Day Will End
Despite how we love to pretend The fact is every day will end It's true if we love to complain Or live in joy through sun and rain The answer to each riddle is there Yet won't be seen by those who stare For life moves on and things will shift Within space-time a sudden rift Within a blink we could be gone Who really knows what's going on? Yes, endless worry is possible here The choice is ours, for faith or fear So then, students of this time What might glean you from this rhyme? The day is short, so don't pretend Be useful! Every day will end (c) Simon J. Halliday 2013 For more info. on Simon J. Halliday: http://www.mysteriousbooks.co.uk © 2013 Simon J Halliday |
