Help From Beyond

Help from beyond is always there
If here and now none seem to care
Look further in and further out
Beyond the confines of our doubt

For limited are our hopes and dreams
The walls we make can channel streams
Of thought and action that we know
But things are lost, so take it slow

We need the time to let things come
Our lives are not a simple sum
For all the time, beyond our range
There lives and breeds what may seem strange

A billion other races there
Extended family also care
With iPad version seventy-three
They'd like to chat with you and me

So have perspective, make new friends
Life's journey never truly ends
We've just begun, whatever our place
Help from beyond may save our race

Wow, that was pretty cool! I really liked the sort of hopeless feeling involved, but there also seems to be a little glimmer of hope mixed in there. Also, I haven't seen many poems on Writer's Cafe that rhyme, so good job on that, too! Nice Poem.
