Amidst The ThrongA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Amidst the Throng
So many rushing here and there Amidst the throng, there's time to care Don't push or grab, for Santa knows And Satan too, they'll both tie bows A present of life or present of doom In this world there is always room Take care, and want the things of good If asked, say 'peace and joy', I would A time of happiness, spreading 'round So none can hide from joyful sound And even in the killer's lair Some hope of change can enter there So don't dismiss the time of cheer Despite the madness and some fear For all now need a happy song You'll find it all amidst the throng (c) Simon J.
