Today's Poem

Tempting Times

Tempting times they will devise

To lure you in, there's no surprise

And who are 'they'?  It could be me

Or maybe you.  For who is free?

Most of the time the games play on

Whilst seeking - where have good times gone?

We're all the same, so let's be clear

No point in hiding 'midst the fear

Seek answers and a straight reply

In complications truth can die

Beware of small print in the eyes

Each moment brings a new disguise

So now we know the way things work

Let's not be shy or go berserk

For knowledge has freed us, time for joy

Don't let those tempting times destroy
