Today's Poem

Enjoy Your Time

Of course a thousand things befall
And life's not easy for us all
But don't commit this heinous crime:
Not trying to enjoy your time

For life's a gift and all should know
Whichever ways we choose to go
Good things await us patiently
And when we're ready, we stop to see

Neglect of things which bring us joy
Could cause great harm and perhaps destroy
The peace we need to see us through
So take great care in all you do

The things which come we might have guessed
If we had peeped out from our rest
We have some power over what shall be
Enjoy your time!  Or why be free?
