RememberA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Remember
Remember what has gone before For who knows what may be in store The world is dangerous, all can be What's looking after you and me? If we're enjoying peaceful days And have the time a glass to raise From time to time we should give thanks To those who bravely take their ranks You know I wish that war was gone And yet it always does go on I struggle to see much good therein But still I hope that good will win And bravery? Yes, no doubt it's there With those who deep down truly care To be so selfless in this way Deserves remembering on this day (c) Simon J. Halliday 2013 For more info. on Simon J.
