TricksA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Tricks
Tricks are used in many ways If not for fun, then someone pays A magic hat can run so deep The rabbit's there, but fast asleep For many tricks are silent now Joy can be found, but who knows how? For many tricksters leave their mark And many scars hide in the dark So in this space we've time to think Would we allow ourselves to sink? Or see the tricks in day's cold light A chance to believe once truth's in sight Amidst the weaving webs we spin You might take time to laugh, or grin If you've been tricked, regain your force A trickster may be tricked of course (c) Simon J.
