The Bigger Picture

The bigger picture's always there
Step back and see, take time to care
For stuck in details, daily grind
Our minds are full, our eyes are blind

More things are happening than we'll know
But sometimes we should try to grow
With how we view the world we're in
The depths of greatness and of sin

All things are possible, yes it's true
But not right now, perhaps not for you
For things are placed within life's stream
To slow our ways, to test our dream

So where then are we left at last?
With memories of the things which past
And still the drive to move things on
For fear the hopes and dreams be gone

Remember then, there's time to rest
And in this time we see things best
A view of life that's so much richer
Let's survey the bigger picture
