The KeyA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
The Key
Where's the key? You'll want to know You can't wait here, it's time to go We all must search before we find A lesson known by all mankind For change is not embraced by all Familiar comfort, fear of fall Still sometimes change is what we need It may be time to plant a seed And when you know the key's out there You may feel life has been unfair Yet tested, tried, you'll seek some more Because you know there's much in store The future always stays ahead And to itself we all are led So don't imagine nothing's real The truth we all in time will feel And for this journey from the gloom To brighter days so far from doom The key we need for many doors I've found mine now, so go find yours!
