Hidden FearsA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Hidden Fears
What's behind the pain and tears? A heart of love or hidden fears? Let's question what the world displays And search some more through mankind's ways Why fear? For death will come to all Life is a gift, we all must fall One day the reaper's twinkling eye Will rest upon both you and I And what of now? What can we give? For now's the time we have to live Insurance, fine, let's have some sense But no point getting too intense The days slip by and chances pass A seething, writhing, greedy mass All tooth and nail and wanting more But what of happiness, what's in store? Let's step back now and see more clear With crystal vision expose the fear And slay it with extreme precision That's all for now, it's your decision (c) Simon J.
