The Skies

The Skies

Watch the skies, a change is near
And do your best, but have no fear
For all this jargon soon will end
From timeless space they've sent a friend

Amidst the details and the lies
The truth cuts through and brings surprise
And all those things we hate with passion
Mysteriously go out of fashion

The friends we knew have changed or gone
But all is new and things move on
A goal will then be reached in time
To fresh rich pastures so sublime

And looking down upon all this
The friend who knew he couldn't miss
From places which the world can't know
He took his aim and helped us grow

The one I speak of can't be told
You may not find his hand to hold
Yet know that somewhere way out there
The skies are watching, please take care

Again...with the positive intent in the lines...the last lines gives the verse:

The one I speak of can't be told
You may not find his hand to hold
Yet know that somewhere way out there
The skies are watching, please take care
